Privacy & Data Retention Notice

What we collect

Registering for Delhi C.L.A.S.H. 2026 requires the following information:

• •Identity & contact — full name, email, phone number, city, home address
• •Event eligibility — date of birth, gender/category, category selection
• •Emergency response — emergency contact name and phone number
• •Medical essentials — blood group, allergies, medications, other medical notes (only what an on-site medical team would need; the full medical annexure is completed on paper at venue check-in)
• •Indemnity acceptance — typed signature, timestamp, IP address and browser user agent, recorded when you accept the Participant Indemnity Bond
• •Payment — handled directly by Razorpay; we receive only the payment status and a reference ID, never your card, UPI or bank details
• •Anonymous visit statistics — we count page views to see how many people visit the site. This uses no cookies, does not identify you, and is not linked to your registration. It applies to everyone browsing the site, not only those who register.

Why we collect it

• •To process your registration and confirm your category entry
• •To contact you about your registration, payment status, and event-day logistics
• •To identify and treat you appropriately in a medical emergency at the venue
• •To verify eligibility (minimum age 18 on event day) and prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries
• •To generate results, rankings and certificates
• •To meet the consent and evidentiary requirements of the Participant Indemnity Bond

Who we share it with

• •Razorpay — to process your payment. We never see or store your card/UPI credentials.
• •Resend — to deliver your registration confirmation email.
• •Supabase — our database provider, which stores your registration record.
• •The event medical team — blood group, allergies, medications and medical notes, on event day only, if needed.
• •Vercel — our hosting provider, which serves the site and produces the anonymous visit counts described above.
• •We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with any other third party for marketing purposes.

How long we keep it

Registration and payment records are retained for as long as needed to resolve disputes, honour the non-refundable fee policy, and meet applicable tax and accounting requirements — at minimum, through the end of the event and any post-event results or grievance window.

Medical details (allergies, medications, medical notes, blood group) are used only for event-day safety and are not retained beyond what is needed for that purpose and any immediate post-event follow-up.

Your rights

This data is processed in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct inaccurate details, or ask us to delete your data once it is no longer needed for the purposes above (registration and payment records tied to a completed, paid entry cannot be deleted before the retention period above ends).
